What We Can Help With

Chimney Cleaning

Creosote builds up every season you burn. A yearly sweep is the simplest way to lower the risk of a chimney fire.

Chimney Inspections

Buying a home, or haven't had it looked at in years? Get the flue, liner and cap checked.

Wood Stove & Insert Service

Stove pipe cleaning, gaskets and a check on how your stove is drafting.

Chimney Repair

Caps, crowns, flashing leaks and liners. Our coast is hard on masonry.

Why Humboldt Chimneys Need Extra Care

Most of us heat with wood for half the year, and our damp coastal air means slower drying firewood and more creosote. Burning wet or unseasoned wood leaves more buildup in the flue. The National Fire Protection Association recommends having chimneys, fireplaces and vents inspected at least once a year.
